Rebuild. My life as I know it? No, not entirely.  Maybe just a little- the base is already built. I always felt as though my base would be the steel beams that never let the structure fail.  I was wrong. The base is the base. The steel beams are imaginary.

It is time to rebuild, however unready I think I am. It is time to recall the teachings about the mirrors and mirages. It is time to press firmly into the faith of my base.

Time to rebuild the beauty I never lost. The beauty which is baked into each particle of each brick in which my base is comprised.  Rebuild.

  1. Great poetry…imagery. Maybe the outer layer of the previous structure was just a facade, put in place temporarily until the base grew strong enough to support the masterpiece yet to come?

  2. You Know your Life
    Not fully as You say
    The Base is strong
    And You are not Wrong
    Want to Rebuild
    Question does not arise
As the building is half Complete
    Confident matters
    And YOU have it
    So go further building
    Need not Rebuild.
    Fond Regards,
